Dr. Venu Prabaker, MD, is a world-renowned internal medicine physician with over 45 years of experience, specializing in patient-centered care and cardiovascular health. Previously based out of La Mesa, California, where he served as President and CEO of Care MD Inc., his vibrant private medical practice established in 1987, until 2023.

He served as an Assistant Director of IM Residency Training Program at Cleveland. When he moved to San Diego, he was appointed as the Chairman of Department of Medicine at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, La Mesa. Dr Prabaker was voted "Top Doc" consecutively for 9 years in a row by a panel of Health Care specialists conducted by San Diego Magazine. A graduate of Madras Medical College (1976), he has earned countless accolades and has taught as faculty at prestigious 18 institutions including Stanford University, UCSD, USC, Yale U etc for over 35 years. As an educator, innovator, and advisor to healthcare startups and charities, Dr. Prabaker has spoken extensively at medical conferences, universities, and events worldwide, including recent lectures in Chennai, India.
